My short story "There's No Prize for Good Girls" is the Sunday Story editor's pick for Litro Magazine. It's a story close to my heart as I was trying to write uncensored about trauma.
That… powerful. Poignant.
I agree with Rick. Very powerful. I like the style. Some people find these things difficult to read, so don't. But you can't hide from reality.
Geez, L. it's an uncomfortable read. To borrow Rick's word, powerful enough to make me squirm. But then you made me laugh with "accomplished librocubicularist." Can I steal that line? It's deliciously haughty. :)
Thanks! Of course, you can use it. It's not mine, I just came across the term in an article and adopted it as it pretty much sums me up!
Brilliant and disturbing.
