It's weird. I've read somewhere that changing the font before editing tricks the brain, and you spot errors you've missed before. It's true just reading my extract below I've spotted something else. :)
I find this all the time. I write on other websites where I paste my text into their text editors which automatically change the font and formatting. Then one in particular changes the format again when I submit to the site from the text editor. Each change throws up mistakes I missed no matter how many times I read it through.
I use istudiopublisher lots and simply exporting to pdf works like this. I have to admit though that tricking my particular brain is embarrassingly easy!

As does reading backwards - at the paragraph or sentence level; not sure I'd try it at the word level.
