    Which is true - if you're Walmart. If you're a bookshop, you need to be a place of magic and passion. Daunt gets that. His own stores - the little London chain he still owns directly, I mean - are absolutely gorgeous little jewels. Last time I went into one, I left with a stack of books.

    And ebooks vs print? Sheez. People should just read in whatever way suits them. The idea that there should be an ideology around it makes no sense at all.
