Just bought Murder at Melrose Court and am enjoying it immensely.
I was grabbed in the first few pages as (a) I find Bibio flies hard to tie, and (b) my first car was a Crossley. Mine was a 1935 Crossley Regis, so a few years older than me.
I'm very impressed with the way you have maintained a steady light-hearted tone through the story so far, even though it is covering death and drama. This is something i'm finding hard, with genres ranging from political atrocities, police procedures and what I hope is a tender but doomed romance.
